Job summary

Ferrotec (USA) Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support design, quality, and operation of integrated systems and machine tools used in production and inspection. The role emphasizes process validation, machine accuracy, and repeatability, with some domestic travel expected.

You will partner with engineering and operations to optimize processes, develop MES correlations, and document qualification activities for new products as well as legacy equipment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Industrial/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing or industrial engineering including process development, quality control/QA, production and testing.
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment and/or contract manufacturing.
• Experience with robot assembly, manufacturing, and testing is a plus.
• Strong computer skills: Excel, Word, Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint.
• Project management experience using Microsoft Office; Gantt charts is a plus.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams on multiple projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Select and maintain material combinations to maximize quality and optimize cost and efficiency.
• Analyze data to maintain product performance and meet quality objectives.
• Recommend manufacturing line equipment and fixtures based on process flow and time standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to augment equipment qualification for new and legacy products.
• Maintain MES software and related data systems.
