Job summary

Ferrotec, based in Livermore, CA, is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Supervisor to lead our site's EHS programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a proactive safety culture across operations.

You will partner with Operations, Facilities, Quality and HR to implement policies, maintain documentation, and support ESG and product compliance efforts, including data collection and reporting via the Assent platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading EHS programs, projects, committees, contractors, or personnel.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, hazardous waste, chemical management, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with ESG and product compliance requirements (REACH, RoHS, TSCA, PFAS).
• Strong communication, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead site Environmental, Health and Safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations.
• Develop and maintain environmental compliance plans, policies, procedures, and safety programs.
• Ensure permits, registrations, inspections, and regulatory reporting are completed on time.
• Conduct facility inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver EHS training and safety awareness programs.
• Monitor PPE usage and maintain safety records.
