Job summary

Ferrotec in Livermore, CA is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and optimize production and inspection processes for semiconductor-related equipment. You will partner with engineering and operations to improve quality, efficiency, and metrics across global teams.

The role involves working with equipment, automation, and MES systems, plus travel to Asia as needed to support projects and new product introductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years in manufacturing/industrial engineering including process development, quality control/QA, production and testing.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment or contract manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve production and inspection processes.
• Analyze data to optimize quality, cost, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with global manufacturing teams to support new products.
• Manage MES and documentation for manufacturing instructions and tests.
