Job summary

Ferrotec (USA) Corporation in Livermore, CA seeks a Sr. Manager of Manufacturing Operations to lead daily production, ensure safety and quality, and drive cost efficiency. You will partner across Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering and Finance to execute plans and improve performance.

The role requires 8+ years in manufacturing, 3+ years in leadership, and strong Lean/continuous improvement experience, with ERP/MRP familiarity. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive manufacturing operations experience in high-mix, low-volume/contract manufacturing.
• 3+ years in manufacturing leadership managing supervisors and production personnel.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, planning, capacity management, and operational excellence.
• Experience driving KPIs: safety, quality, delivery, productivity, labor, FPY, inventory accuracy, cost.
• Lean/6S/Kaizen or similar continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient production.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development for supervisors and personnel.
• Drive KPIs: safety, on-time delivery, labor efficiency, FPY, waste reduction, inventory accuracy.
• Develop and execute production schedules with Planning and Customer Service.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve throughput.
• Lead reviews and communicate performance to site and BU leadership.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Eng., Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve issues.
