Job summary
Ferrotec (USA) Corporation in Livermore, CA is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and optimize production and inspection processes for semiconductor-related products. You will collaborate with global teams to drive quality, cost efficiency, and process improvements across manufacturing lines.
The role requires 7+ years in manufacturing/industrial engineering, strong data analysis, and experience with MES software. Domestic and international travel may be involved.
Qualifications
- BS in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering including process development, quality control/assurance, production and testing.
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment or contract manufacturing.
- Experience with MES software is desired.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize production and inspection processes.
- Collaborate with global manufacturing teams to improve efficiency and quality.
- Lead process development, validation, troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Establish manufacturing standards and evaluate equipment and workforce capabilities.
- Maintain MES and create/modify OMS instructions for assembly processes.
