Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is a global consulting firm seeking a senior practitioner for PEPI to improve manufacturing and distribution operations. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of target facilities, review data, and develop lean improvements and transformation plans with cross‑functional teams.

You will lead efforts in cost improvement opportunities, capacity optimization, and change management, delivering actionable recommendations and overseeing project delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years professional experience with at least 4 years in manufacturing and/or distribution.
• Deep functional expertise in one or more listed areas (see qualifications).
• Strong analytical skills including business process mapping and quantitative analysis.

Responsibilities

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of target’s manufacturing and distribution operations, including organization design, capacity, efficiency, planning, warehousing, and team capability.
• Evaluate maintainability and operability of production facilities.
• Review current and historical data to understand efficiency, capacity, equipment conditions, maintenance logs, and spare parts.
• Provide shop floor insights by talking with employees, customers, and reviewing data.
• Identify potential cost improvement opportunities through lean improvements, outsourcing or consolidation of facilities.
• Develop transformation plans to drive proposed changes and identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and manage the team and day-to-day relationships.
