Job summary

idX Corporation, a premier designer & manufacturer of consumer environments, seeks an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing, scheduling, materials, quality, and workforce development. You will drive safety, efficiency, and profitability while aligning with Engineering, Project Management, Purchasing, and Executive Leadership.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, Lean improvements, and data-driven decisions to meet customer commitments and financial goals in a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 7-10 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years managing multiple departments in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in architectural millwork, retail fixtures, displays, woodworking, cabinetry, or related manufacturing preferred.
• Strong ERP/MRP experience; Epicor/Kinetic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and ensure OSHA compliance and site regulations.
• Direct all manufacturing operations including production, assembly, finishing, warehousing, shipping, and maintenance.
• Own facility financial performance: labor efficiency, material usage, waste reduction, and KPIs.
• Maintain a culture of quality and lead corrective actions for issues and complaints.
• Coordinate scheduling and project execution with Master Scheduling and Project Management.
• Manage inventory accuracy and materials procurement with Purchasing.
• Develop supervisors and leaders; drive accountability and engagement.
• Oversee facility maintenance, asset management, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies and data analysis.
• Collaborate with regional ops teams for alignment and capacity planning.
