Job summary

IDEX Corporation – Mott is seeking a Manufacturing Manager who will lead frontline manufacturing teams, mentor operators, and drive continuous improvement. This 100% employee‑owned environment emphasizes safety, quality, and cost control while delivering on-time outcomes.

You will partner with cross‑functional teams to reduce lead time and enhance workforce development, driving performance metrics in safety, quality, and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of five years of manufacturing experience.
• Direct supervisory or people-management experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and track competency development of manufacturing operators.
• Manage daily workflow and staffing to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Support and execute continuous improvement initiatives across shifts (5S, automation, process simplification).
• Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify performance gaps and improvements.
• Foster accountability, ownership, and teamwork across the shop floor.
• Ensure effective communication across shifts with structured handoffs.
