Job summary

Micron Technology, a world leader in memory and storage solutions, is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Boise, Idaho. You will strengthen PVD/CVD area manufacturing performance by reducing risk, increasing capacity, and leading cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Process Development, Industrial Engineering and Operations to meet ambitious timelines.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or semiconductor Engineering required.
• 3+ years of industrial engineering experience in semiconductor capacity planning or area process engineering required.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python and Tableau for planning and visualization.
• Experience with CVD or PVD processes and fab capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve systemic CVD/PVD issues affecting throughput, cycle time, and risk; model capacity.
• Drive area performance with metrics, risk assessments, and data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate capacity scenarios and mitigation plans.
• Analyze operational data to communicate trends, risks, and improvements.
• Lead projects and capacity management with stakeholder collaboration.
• Lead safety and quality efforts including audits and QDR follow-up.
