Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to strengthen PVD/CVD area manufacturing performance in Boise, ID. You will focus on reducing operational risk and building stable, predictable capacity across manufacturing execution, working with Manufacturing, Process Development, Industrial Engineering, and Operations to improve cycle time and throughput.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in semiconductor capacity planning, strong SQL/Python/Tableau skills, and experience with fab

Qualifications

3+ years of deep industrial engineering experience driving semiconductor equipment capacity planning or semiconductor area process engineering.
Proficiency using SQL, Python and Tableau planning and visualization tools.
Experience supporting Physical and/or Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD or PVD) processes including fab capacity planning, floor scheduling, line management systems and fab operation.

Responsibilities

Identify and resolve systemic CVD/PVD area issues affecting throughput, cycle time, and operational risk and model capacity planning.
Drive area performance using clear metrics, risk assessments, and data-informed capital decisions.
Effectively partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate and influence capacity scenarios and mitigation plans.
Analyze operational data to communicate trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Lead safety and quality efforts including audits and follow-ups.
