Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a high-energy senior engineer to lead the ID1 PVD/CVD process engineering teams and drive high-volume manufacturing readiness. You will hire and develop engineers, set strategy, and partner with global fabs to ensure smooth scale-up.

You will champion data-driven decision making, apply AI/GenAI tools to improve process control, and deliver sustained yield improvements while upholding safety and Micron values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in science or engineering.
• Senior Engineer level with leadership experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct films experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Strong technical communication, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the F4 HVM PVD/CVD process engineering teams.
• Define and implement team strategy, performance targets and succession plans.
• Lead and develop the team to deliver sustained yield improvement.
• Establish clear expectations and systems for yield performance.
• Drive adoption of Agentic AI, GenAI and advanced analytics tools.
• Establish team capability in data analysis, automation, and AI-assisted decision making.
• Provide technical leadership for process qualification and yield ramp.
• Promote a strong safety culture and compliance with safety standards.
