Job summary

International Motors is seeking an NPI Engineer for the new night shift in San Antonio. You will lead manufacturing readiness for new vehicle programs, manage process development, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on-time launches.

The role requires strong engineering background, NPI/MPI experience, and proficiency with CAD, ERP, and MES tools. Night shift includes a 10% differential and occasional extended hours to meet production goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, NPI, MPI, or production launch support.
Experience in automotive, heavy-duty truck, or high-volume manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and Manufacturing Product Introduction (MPI) activities for new vehicle programs and process improvements.
Evaluate manufacturing impacts of new products, changes, and process modifications.
Develop and implement manufacturing process flows for assembly and fabrication operations.
Lead readiness reviews ensuring tooling, equipment, and processes are launch-ready.
Support pilot builds, trials, launches, and ramp-ups.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve issues and hit milestones.
