Job summary

Hengstler in Elizabethtown, NC seeks a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to lead manufacturing engineering activities and drive Lean initiatives across production cells.

You will improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost while providing technical direction to cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include leading cost reductions, process improvements, capital projects, and coordinating with Quality, Operations, Maintenance, and Design Engineering to ensure production readiness and robust

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field matching manufacturing engineering.
7+ years in industrial manufacturing engineering or similar environment.
Experience with Lean tools and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead manufacturing engineering support for production cells and processes.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce cost.
Lead root-cause analysis for defects and drive corrective actions.
Support capital equipment projects from justification to production launch.
Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Maintenance and Design Engineering teams.
