Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Camden, NJ seeks an Associate Manager, Manufacturing Engineering to provide leadership to manufacturing engineers on assigned programs and oversee manufacturing documentation, work instructions, production routings, and line balancing.

You will drive process development and scheduling to improve throughput, apply lean/six sigma methods to reduce waste, and serve as lead engineer on development programs while ensuring cost, schedule, and reliability targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/graduate degree with relevant experience; minimum four years.
• Experience leading and managing processes, projects, tactics and employees.
• Experience with military or industry specs and standards related to design, testing, hardware, materials and processes.
• Experience with ERP, MRP and MES software.
• Advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Access).
• Strong manufacturing knowledge and cross‑organizational impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to manufacturing engineers on programs.
• Develop plans to expand production capabilities and maximize efficiencies.
• Hire, develop, and retain manufacturing engineers.
• Supervise, coach, and remove barriers for manufacturing engineers.
• Develop and implement manufacturing plans and schedules including process flows and training.
• Support design engineering for cost-effective producibility and performance across the product life cycle.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Security Clearance.
