Job summary

Ralliant is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer in North Carolina to lead manufacturing engineering activities that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and overall production performance.

You will support existing processes, drive continuous improvement, and mentor teams on lean practices. The role reports to the Senior Engineering Manager and requires strong collaboration with Quality, Operations, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Design Engineering to resolve issues and drive cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a high-mix setting.
• Strong background in process improvement and root-cause analysis.
• Experience leading projects from concept to implementation.
• Knowledge of Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and standard work.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing engineering support for assigned cells, lines, and processes.
• Identify and implement process improvements to raise efficiency and reduce cost.
• Troubleshoot equipment, process, tooling, and quality issues daily.
• Develop and maintain processes, work instructions, tooling, and fixtures.
• Lead root cause analyses for defects, escapes, scrap, and rework.
• Support new product introductions, transfers, and engineering changes.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Maintenance, and Design Engineering.
