Job summary

TAS Energy, a Houston-based provider of modular data center and utility systems, seeks a seasoned Manufacturing Engineer III to drive manufacturing improvements in a make-to-order environment. You will design, build, and implement processes that enhance productivity, safety, and quality while leading cross-functional teams across engineering, production, and estimating.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial engineering.
• Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks & AutoCAD; ERP systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate production activities through data analysis to identify opportunities for improvements in productivity, material flow, safety, quality, and cost.
• Lead Lean initiatives: Standardized Work Instructions, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen/5S.
• Develop labor estimates, cost models, and conduct time studies to validate costs.
• Manage multiple CAPEX projects from ROQ to turn-key operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for manufacturability and DFMA feedback.
• Document and track cost savings and process improvements against targets.
