TAS Energy Inc. is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer III to support production by designing, building, and implementing process improvements.

The role emphasizes driving continuous improvement, documenting critical manufacturing procedures, and leading cross-functional teams to optimize labor efficiency and cost. Ideal candidates have a strong track record in engineer-to-order environments, Lean leadership, and proficiency with SolidWorks/AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree required with emphasis in manufacturing.
• Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt certification a plus.
• Experience with engineer-to-order/make-to-order environments preferred.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Strong cost modeling and time-study capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production data to identify productivity, safety, quality, and cost improvements.
• Lead Lean initiatives: Standardized Work Instructions, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen/5S.
• Estimate direct labor, develop cost models, and conduct time studies for accuracy.
• Manage multiple CAPEX projects from scope through commissioning and turnover.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturability and reduce non-value-added steps.
• Provide input on design-for-manufacturability and shop floor feedback to Engineering.
