Job summary

Qualifications

• BS / MS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial engineering.
• LEAN / Six Sigma Black Belt certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks & AutoCAD.
• Experience in make to order / engineer to order environments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate production activities through data analysis to identify opportunities for improvements in productivity, material flow, safety, quality, and cost.
• Lead Lean initiatives: Standardized Work Instructions, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen/5S.
• Lead labor estimating; develop and maintain cost models; conduct time studies.
• Manage multiple CAPEX projects from ROQ to turnover, including executive approvals and installation.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams with Engineering, Production, and Estimating to drive efficiencies.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering for manufacturability improvements and concurrent engineering.
• Provide shop floor feedback on product design and manufacturability issues to Engineering and DFMA teams.
• Document and track cost savings and process improvements against targets.
• Evaluate Quality data and implement improvement activities to ensure quality requirements.
