Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years in an Engineering-to-Order manufacturing environment.
- Strong Lean Manufacturing and OpEx experience.
- SolidWorks proficiency; AutoCAD and layout design preferred.
Responsibilities
- Industrial Engineering & Continuous Improvement: time studies, line balancing, labor analysis to boost throughput.
- Manufacturing Process Development: design and optimize processes, tooling, fixture layouts, and material flow.
- New Equipment & Capital Projects: lead specification, procurement, installation, and commissioning of new equipment; ROI analysis.
- CAD & Technical Design: use SolidWorks to design fixtures, tooling, and layouts; collaborate to improve manufacturability.
- Data Analysis & Systems Management: analyze production trends, support inventory optimization, capacity planning.
