Job summary

OPW at Ball Ground, GA seeks a Plant Manager to lead manufacturing, sourcing, planning and logistics for CES projects. You will drive safety, quality and cost performance on the shop floor and collaborate across Product Management, Engineering and Supply Chain to ensure a smooth ETO flow.

You will champion continuous improvement, coach a high-performing team, and manage site metrics and budgets in a fast-paced make-to-order environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial management, applied engineering, business, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years in manufacturing/operations leadership in ETO/MTO environments, with 10+ years in plant management.
• Strong ERP/MRP, data-driven decision-making, and lean/continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of Ball Ground manufacturing facility including production, sourcing, planning, and logistics for CES projects.
• Maintain shop floor presence; respond to production issues and people’s needs.
• Drive safety culture and environmental standards; ensure compliance with EHS policies.
• Implement Lean/OpEx to improve throughput, reduce waste, and optimize costs.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Supply Chain for end-to-end ETO processes.
• Manage plant P&L, budgets, and performance targets; align with corporate objectives.
• Collaborate with other CES sites to share best practices and maintain consistency.
