Job summary

OPW in Ball Ground, USA, is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to drive operational excellence through process optimization, facility and workflow design, and the implementation of new manufacturing technologies.

The role focuses on time studies, capacity analysis, line balancing, and capital equipment projects, leveraging SolidWorks and CAD tools to support manufacturing processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in engineering for the order (ETO) manufacturing environment.
Proven success leading continuous improvement initiatives and capital equipment implementations.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and IE methodologies.

Responsibilities

Conduct time studies, work sampling, labor analysis, and line balancing to improve throughput.
Design and improve manufacturing processes, tooling, and layouts.
Lead capital equipment projects from concept through production launch and ROI analysis.
Develop and apply standard work instructions and process documentation.
