ETO Plant Manager — Lean Operations Leader

Job summary

OPW is seeking a seasoned Plant Manager for Ball Ground, GA to lead all manufacturing and operational functions for the CES ETO business. You will own safety, quality, delivery, cost and workforce engagement while driving continuous improvement and Lean initiatives on the shop floor.

You will partner with Product Management, Engineering and Supply Chain to ensure smooth end-to-end processes from design to manufacturing, and you will oversee P&L, budgets and performance targets for the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial management, applied engineering, business, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in manufacturing or operations leadership in an ETO/MTO environment, with at least 10 years in plant management.
• Strong ERP/MRP and data-driven decision-making experience.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and mechanical diagrams.
• Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies with proven results.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Ball Ground site operations: production, sourcing, materials, warehousing, planning, scheduling and logistics.
• Maintain strong shop floor presence and address production issues and team needs.
• Ensure safety and EHS standards, fostering accountability and engagement.
• Drive continuous improvement using OpEx tools and Lean to boost throughput and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and Supply Chain on ETO processes and new product introductions.
• Manage plant P&L, budgets and performance targets; align with CES network.
• Serve as operational interface to corporate functions and other CES sites.
