Job summary

Allison Transmission is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to monitor and optimize the manufacturing process, coordinate integration, and analyze efficiency data. You will work with the manufacturing manager to maintain standards and drive new production methods and processes.

The role requires leading equipment trials, developing process documentation, and supporting major capital projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years of manufacturing engineering experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design manufacturing systems focused on quality and throughput improvements.
• Develop process documentation: stack sheets, routings, PFMEAs, flow diagrams, error-proofing.
• Lead the trial and evaluation of new machinery and equipment.
• Provide technical support to plant operations and management.
• Develop capital projects and cost estimates for major programs.
