This role partners with the manufacturing manager to sustain standards and introduce new production methods. The position requires a Bachelor degree or equivalent, 5+ years of experience, and strong CAD/PD tooling and lean manufacturing expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience required.
• CAD proficiency (NX and/or AutoCAD).
• Lean manufacturing concepts and practices.
• Experience with statistical qualification of machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design of manufacturing systems with focus on continuous improvement for quality and throughput of assembly equipment.
• Develop process documentation including stack sheets, routings, PFMEAs, flow diagrams, and error-proofing plans.
• Analyze proposals for new machinery and equipment.
• Lead the tryout and evaluation of new machinery and equipment.
• Provide technical support to plant operations.
• Develop and implement major Capital Appropriations Projects.
• Prepare cost estimates for new and major programs; collaborate across functions.
