Job summary

BAE Systems, Aberdeen, SD, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to partner with Shop Technicians in developing and maintaining processes for safe, on-time, within-budget production.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering or technical discipline with 4+ years in manufacturing; strong teamwork, communication, problem solving, and analytical skills are essential. Preferred experience includes Lean principles and Oracle/TIPQA familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment and participate in audits.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and root cause investigations.
• Create and maintain shop routings and process verification forms.
• Review and implement engineering changes to ensure proper configuration control.
• Mentor and coach team members and identify training needs.
