Advanced Mission Partners in Linthicum, MD is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to drive manufacturing process improvements for aerospace and defense programs. The role leads transitions from development to production, and collaborates with Quality, PM, and Production to optimize cost, throughput, and reliability.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experience or training in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with soldering and electronics assembly.
• Experience creating work instructions and process documentation from customer drawings.
• Experience programming and operating Juki SMT equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and 3D CAD software.
• Strong analytical, project management, and cross-functional communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead manufacturing process improvements and ensure manufacturability and cost goals.
• Own continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and program documentation.
• Support transition from engineering development to manufacturing, including readiness and launch activities.
• Evaluate new manufacturing processes and technologies to improve safety, quality, cost, and throughput.
• Provide input on product designs for manufacturing ease and cost considerations.
• Create and review assembly instructions, routings, and process documentation.
• Review drawings for manufacturability and production readiness.
• Lead cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and improve product reliability and throughput.
