Job summary

BAE Systems, Inc. in Aberdeen, SD is seeking a Manufacturing Tech II to join a high-performance team performing welding, machining, finishing, electrical assembly and mechanical assembly, and to write and follow manufacturing and test procedures.

The role offers a 4/10 schedule (Mon–Thu) with overtime on Fridays when needed, in a full-time position with first shifts available. Pay is $23.00 per hour, with opportunities to learn multiple processes and contribute to process improvements.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

As a Manufacturing Tech II You Will

• In accordance with manufacturing procedures, drawings and Engineering instructions, safely fabricates and assembles a quality product, on time, at the lowest achievable cost.
• Performs test procedures and completes documents to ensure that a conforming product is manufactured.
• Manages time effectively and works a flexible schedule.

May participate in one or more of the following Team/Plant Role Responsibilities:

• Team Leader
• Safety Representative
• Quality Representative
• Administrative Representative
• Inventory Representative
• Supplies/Bulk Material Representative
• Preventive Maintenance Representative
• Manufacturing Procedure Representative

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pay is $23.00 an hour - work schedule is 4/10 Monday to Thursday and OT is worked on Friday when needed. First shifts available.
• We are seeking entry level individuals who thrive in a team environment, are self-motivated, and are willing to learn and perform a variety of processes including: welding, machining, ablative installation, painting, mechanical and electrical assembly, and test.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Welding skills preferred. Manufacturing backgound a plus.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $38956 - $62330

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
