Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Sr Staff to lead R&R reduction on the F-35 PE SCA team. The role reports to Senior Leadership and partners with Quality Engineering and Production Operations to drive product improvements across multiple build areas.

You will supervise project charters, apply Lean Six Sigma, and manage actions from initiation through closure while tracking key metrics to raise quality and reduce variation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment and cross-functional work with QA, production, design, industrial, project, manufacturing, and process engineering.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills in a team.
• Experience presenting to Senior/Executive Leadership.
• Ability to apply structured root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead project charters and coordinate cross-functional teams to reduce R&R.
• Investigate manufacturing processes across build areas and program level.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma tools to uncover root causes and close gaps.
• Develop corrective action plans and track progress to closure.
• Project manage from initiation to verification and closure.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering and Production Operations to drive improvements.
