Job summary

Aperia is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to own production processes for new and existing products. You will coordinate across Quality, Design Engineering, and Operations to resolve issues, optimize assembly methods, and drive cost reductions.

This role requires turning ambitious plans into tangible goals with strict timelines. Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in high-volume production, strong mechanical aptitude, and hands-on experience with PFMEA, process documentation, and data

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5-8 years in high-volume, low-mix production in automotive or medical industries.
• Experience with PFMEA and quality systems.
• Familiar with Kaizen/5S/Toyota Management principles and SPC.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain understanding of manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with Quality, Design Engineering, and Operations to resolve issues.
• Engineer and validate new/improved assembly processes for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Plan factory layout and execute the layout plan.
• Create and manage process documentation, flowcharts, PFMEAs, and work instructions.
• Create, release, and implement Manufacturing Change Orders (MCOs).
• Lead investigations of production yield issues and root causes.
• Collect, analyze, and report data to identify process improvements.
• Document and execute non-standard builds and route material handling.
