Job summary

Aurorate LLC is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the Engineering Department and drive manufacturing operations, NPI, and continuous improvement from concept to production. The role emphasizes process optimization, quality assurance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet product launches and customer requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or related field.
5–8 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
Proficiency reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Experience leading NPI projects and preparing engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop the Engineering Department with technical guidance.
Manage NPI activities from customer drawings to production launch.
Review and maintain customer drawings and specifications.
Develop and maintain process documentation: parameters, work instructions, SOPs.
Design production tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing solutions.
Coordinate samples delivery with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time launch.
Lead ECRs/ECNs and PFMEA, control plans, and SPC studies.
Analyze processes to improve quality, productivity, and cost.
Troubleshoot production and process issues supporting operations.
Collaborate across Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Sales.
