Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Largo, FL is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support depot and production programs at the Largo Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC). The role includes developing manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and providing production support from concept through sustaining activities.

The successful candidate will collaborate with design, process/production engineering, factory operations, and program management, reporting to the Largo Manufacturing

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Experience with military/industry standards and dispositioning nonconforming material with root cause analysis.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and training to employees within the job area.
• Verify technical vs. manufacturing data, hardware inspections, and safety assessments.
• Develop work cell layouts.
• Plan, develop, manage, and document tooling and fixtures.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing techniques and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on policies and practices.
