Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Largo, FL is seeking a Mechanical Engineer II to join an IPT and drive hardware design, analysis, and production support for DoD-grade systems. You will work with system, hardware, and software engineers to advance circuit card assemblies, electronic assemblies, and reflector antennas.

The role requires a STEM degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, CAD experience (CREO) and PDM, and the ability to obtain/maintain US security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing hardware across product development phases.
• Experience with CAD tools and product data management.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design, development, analysis and documentation of components and assemblies.
• Provide production and supplier support during integration.
• Interface with the organization to develop design solutions and resolve technical challenges.
• Support reviews and trade studies to make sound technical decisions.
• Apply knowledge in hardware development within a fast-paced team.
