Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to work onsite in Largo, FL. The role will support depot and production programs at the Largo Consolidated Manufacturing Center, developing manufacturing documentation and providing production support on the factory floor.

The engineer will typically hold a STEM degree with 2+ years of relevant experience and must be able to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Experience with disposition nonconforming material utilizing root cause and corrective action analysis.

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures to meet program and site targets.
• Perform technical and manufacturing data verifications and safety assessments.
• Develop work cell layouts to optimize product flow.
• Plan, manage, and document tooling and fixtures for manufacturing.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing techniques across processes.
