Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a manufacturing engineer to apply engineering knowledge to solve complex manufacturing problems for electrical/mechanical pressure sensing devices. You will interface with manufacturing, production, maintenance, purchasing, quality, design, and program management in an onsite role in Burnsville, MN.

The position emphasizes data analytics, SPC, cost savings, and continuous improvement using SAP and Creo, with opportunities to influence processes and tool designs

Qualifications

This role requires a STEM degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree.
Experience in aviation or aerospace manufacturing is preferred.
Strong knowledge of SPC, data analytics and process improvement.

Responsibilities

Maintain production documentation and routings for processes.
Identify defects and implement mitigations and SPC controls.
Learn operation and programming of assigned equipment.
Develop cost savings projects and process improvements.
Drive process efficiency, safety and production flow improvements.
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, quality and supply chain.
