Job summary

Raytheon in Andover, MA is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to improve and support final assembly and manufacturing processes for Major End Items. The role emphasizes cycle time reduction, safety, and cost improvements through CORE principles and data-driven decisions.

You will collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, and design teams, develop manufacturing data packages, review manufacturability, and lead corrective actions. A DoD secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Support Final Assembly of Major End Items.
• Drive continuous improvement through projects to reduce cycle time and cost using CORE principles and data-driven decisions.
• Develop, maintain, and review Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including instructions and labor standards.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, and design to implement robust processes.
• Recommend acquisition of new equipment and materials to strengthen manufacturing capability.
• Review manufacturability and advise modifications to address constraints.
• Lead corrective action investigations to prevent recurrence of issues.
