Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for the Eagle Eye team in Costa Mesa, CA. You will lead the transition of electromechanical hardware from prototype to high-volume production, shaping manufacturability and scalability while collaborating with design and manufacturing colleagues.

You will own parts of the EagleEye manufacturing value chain, develop tooling and fixtures, write work instructions, and participate hands-on in building

Competenze

• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing or electromechanical hardware design.
• Experience delivering electromechanical hardware in resource-constrained environments.
• Hands-on hardware manufacturing experience (machining, fabrication, soldering, assembly).
• Interest in manufacturing and willingness to learn.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.

Mansioni

• Leverage expertise in New Product Introduction (NPI) to transition electromechanical products from prototype to high-volume production, optimizing manufacturability and supply chain scalability.
• Work with cross functional manufacturing teams to implement semi and fully automated solutions for electromechanical assemblies.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering teams early in development to feedback Design For Manufacturability.
• Own the manufacturing value chain for one or more of the EagleEye family of systems.
• Develop novel tooling and fixturing solutions for assembly, quality and test.
• Develop process flows, breaking down large assemblies into subassemblies and sub-processes.
• Write documentation required for manufacturing hardware at scale (work instructions, quality plans, inspection requirements).
• Work with technicians and other engineers hands-on, building prototype hardware.
• Contribute to end-customer hardware mechanical or electrical design, including interconnects, board fabrication and inspection.
