Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Principal Manufacturing Engineer Level 3 for on-site work in Iuka, MS. The role supports Production Engineering & Operations, with a Fri–Sun 7:00am–7:30pm shift.

Responsibilities include guiding manufacturability, tool design reviews, and defining build sequences. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Engineering with 4 years of experience or higher degrees with adjusted years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of related engineering experience OR Master’s Degree and 3 years of related engineering experience OR PhD and 0 years of exp.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to Engineering regarding manufacturability of design concepts.
• Participate in tool design reviews to reduce build times and costs.
• Define sequence of operations for product builds.
• Investigate corrective actions for non-conforming product.
• Identify opportunities for producibility and affordability improvements.
