Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer (level 1) or Manufacturing Engineer (level 2) for a 3x12 shift in Iuka, MS. The role involves designing manufacturing processes, layouts, and procedures for efficient production of complex assemblies.

The candidate must hold a STEM degree, be able to obtain a U.S. government security clearance, and meet education criteria by August 2027. Preferred GPA and prior internship experience are highlighted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution by August 2027.
• Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).

Responsibilities

• Design manufacturing processes for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.
• Inspect performance of machinery and tools to verify efficiency and initiate corrective actions.
• Develop processes applicable to statistical process control and guide design concepts to optimize manufacturing techniques.
