Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer: Automation to lead a team of automation engineers, delivering robust BAS/PLC solutions for the new FleX Batch facility. You will collaborate with capital projects, ensure data integrity, and support validation in a GMP setting.

The role requires expertise in building automation, commissioning, and site operations, with strong leadership and communication skills to drive project delivery and continuous improvement across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or higher required.
• Experience in GMP biopharmaceutical environments preferred.
• Strong leadership, writing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide automation leadership to a group of automation engineers.
• Develop and maintain documentation and validation activities in a GMP setting.
• Support commissioning, qualification, and FAT activities for automation systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop qualification strategies for BAS and PLC systems.
• Ensure network connectivity supports centralized monitoring and alarming.
