Job summary
Amgen in North Carolina is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer to lead automation initiatives across BAS and PLC-based systems in the new FleX Batch facility. You will partner with Facilities & Engineering to deliver robust automation solutions that align with GMP and industry standards.

Qualifications
- Basic qualifications include a degree in engineering and multiple levels of engineering experience.
- Experience leading building automation and PLC-based systems in a GMP biopharma environment.
- Knowledge of GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, and infrastructure validation processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead building automation projects and PLC-based systems with a focus on reliability and compliance.
- Collaborate with capital projects to deliver BAS and skid equipment for new facilities.
- Own system administration, change controls, CAPAs, and deviations for automation systems.
- Provide operational support and data integrity assessments for automation platforms.
