Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a strategic leader for Life Science & Healthcare Banking. This hybrid role will regularly operate from our SF, NY, or Boston offices and focus on deepening C‑Suite relationships across the sector, including founders, CEOs, and CFOs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of experience in Commercial banking, venture capital or Relationship Management and industry-specific knowledge in life sciences/healthcare.
MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Acquire, orchestrate, and grow client and ecosystem relationships across lending as well as non-lending financial and operational needs.
Drive new business development and expansion of existing relationships to grow loans, deposits, and broader banking income.
Originate, advise on, and negotiate financing solutions for SVB Commercial Bank clients.
Develop strategies to improve and grow the balance sheet while managing risk.
Lead and coach sales leaders and drive talent development within the team.
