Job summary

First Citizens Innovation Bank is seeking a Senior Strategic Sales Leader for Life Science & Healthcare Banking in a hybrid role, based in the Boston area. You will deepen relationships with C-Suite executives and oversee a complex client portfolio, driving cross‑sell across treasury, debt financing and private banking.

You will lead business development, cultivate investor and industry relationships, and steer strategic discussions on capital solutions, with a focus on healthcare and life

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field with 8+ years in Commercial banking, venture capital or Relationship Management.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing senior client relationships.
• Track record of originating and growing high-value client relationships in Life Science/Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, orchestrate, and grow client relationships across lending as well as non-lending financial and operational needs.
• Drive new business development and expansion of existing relationships - develop strategies to improve and grow loans, deposits, and broader banking services income.
• Originate, advise on, and negotiate financing solutions for SVB Commercial Bank clients; develop strategies to improve the balance sheet while managing risk.
• Lead and develop sales talent and maintain a strong market presence within Life Science & Healthcare.
