Job summary

Dynatrace is seeking a Sr Managing Architect within the Center of Excellence. You will lead a focused team of SMEs, own mission-critical topics (logs, security, cloud, Kubernetes, developer observability, business analytics, and digital experience management), and shape best practices with stakeholders.

You will mentor a team of CoE architects and consultants while remaining technically hands-on. You will drive technical depth, manage resources and budgets, and align with executive priorities to

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years’ proven experience as a consultant or architect on highly technical, agile teams.
• 2+ years’ experience leading technical people — formal line management or sustained team/technical lead responsibility.
• Experience with modern deployment automation tools, scripting, and methods.
• Working experience with modern IaaS, PaaS, container and Serverless cloud technologies.
• Working experience with cloud-native application design.
• Working experience with modern software engineering processes.
• Experience developing and promoting best practices, methodologies and governance frameworks.
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation communications skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a matrix environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Own all aspects of one or more mission critical topics and create scalable deliverables.
• Provide SME on topics while remaining hands-on with the platform.
• Develop, document and promote best practices and reference models.
• Consolidate technical resources into executable strategies.
• Lead or support customer engagements and pilots with an account team.
• Assess and recommend new technologies to enhance engagements.
• Collaborate across Dynatrace Customer Success, R&D, Sales Engineering.
• Mentor and share knowledge across teams.
• Support expansion of expertise to broader teams.
• Contribute to thought leadership assets.
