Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking a Senior Operations Manager in Connecticut to lead a team of supervisors and drivers, ensuring alignment with customer goals and contractual obligations. Qualifications

5+ years of logistics and supply chain experience required.
At least 3 years of managerial or supervisory experience required.
Proficiency with MS Office suite required.

Responsibilities

-Ensure supervisors understand how their work aligns with the customer's business objectives and interview/hire associates up to supervisor level.
-Interact daily with the local customer to identify customer needs and coordinate improvements across routing, carrier selection, backhauls, and warehousing.
-Develop and execute annual financial and operating plans and manage P&L to targets.
-Monitor safety, compliance, and process improvements to support cost savings and efficiency.
