Fortegra- seeks a Senior Manager, Specialty Claims to lead a General Liability claims team, directing strategy, coverage analysis, and litigation oversight for high-value litigated claims. Reporting to the VP, Specialty Claims, you will drive performance, continuous improvement, and vendor partnerships while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will partner with executives and Legal, Underwriting, Actuarial, and Finance to identify trends, manage reserves, and mentor a team of senior adjusters in

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible commercial casualty claims experience handling high-severity litigated claims.
• 5+ years leading complex claims organizations or technical claims teams.
• Experience partnering with internal and external counsel on litigation strategies.
• Experience handling New York Labor Law claims.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership and technical expertise in complex claims decisions, coverage analysis, and litigation strategy.
• Oversee reserve adequacy and settlement authority for NY Labor Law claims.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and other departments to identify loss trends.
• Manage a team of Senior Claim Adjusters and ensure productivity and alignment with goals.
• Oversee outside counsel and strategic vendors to ensure quality and cost-effective outcomes.
