Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. invites a Manager of Systems Studies to lead execution and technical oversight of power system studies for solar, wind, and storage projects.

You will manage engineers performing steady-state and transient analyses, ensuring accuracy, consistency and timely delivery. Responsibilities include mentoring the team, coordinating with project managers and clients, and contributing to business development through proposals and scoping.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years in renewable energy and/or power system modeling.
• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with a power systems focus; PE required.
• Experience with DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP, SKM, CYME, PSSE, PSLF or ASPEN.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee electrical studies for utility-scale renewable projects.
• Provide technical oversight, QA/QC and modeling standards adherence.
• Coordinate with PMs, protection engineers, vendors and clients.
• Mentor engineers and support professional development in the team.
• Assist with proposals, scoping and client presentations.
