Coinbase is hiring a Senior Manager, Recruiting to lead the Core Recruiting team within People Success. You will partner with senior leaders across CX, Security, ESTO, and People Success to shape hiring strategy and workforce planning.

You will own recruiting operations for your portfolio, drive improvements, and foster a high-performance culture rooted in accountability and collaboration. This role requires a data-driven leader capable of scaling teams in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of recruiting experience across the full cycle (talent mapping, sourcing, interviewing, closing)
• 3+ years leading and developing recruiting teams
• Experience partnering with senior leadership on hiring strategy and workforce planning
• Data-driven approach to pipeline management and metrics-driven recommendations
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality

We're hiring a Senior Manager, Recruiting to lead a team within our Core Recruiting function in People Success. Your portfolio covers Customer Experience, Security, Enterprise Systems & Technology Operations (ESTO), and People Success - teams that are actively scaling and critical to Coinbase's operations and infrastructure. You'll lead a team of recruiters, partner directly with senior leaders across your portfolio on workforce planning and hiring strategy, and drive the operational rigor and quality bar that ensures every hire strengthens the company.

What you'll do:

Required Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years of recruiting experience across the full cycle (talent mapping, sourcing, interviewing, closing), with 3+ years leading and developing recruiting teams
• Demonstrated success partnering with senior leadership on hiring strategy and workforce planning
• Track record of building, coaching, and scaling high-performing recruiting teams in fast-paced technology environments
• Data-driven approach to pipeline management with the ability to translate recruiting metrics into strategic recommendations for leadership
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

Pay Transparency Notice: Base salary varies by location (see range below). Total compensation may also include equity and bonus eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).

Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus):: $201,365 USD - $236,900 USD
