Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Principal Recruiter to join the Core Recruiting team within People Success. You’ll own the full lifecycle for senior roles, build pipelines, and partner with senior leaders to design effective search strategies and a great candidate experience.

You will drive data-driven mobility of recruiting across global markets, develop scalable processes, and responsibly use AI with human oversight to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience in a technology company or fast-paced environment.
• Experience building and scaling recruiting processes across global markets.
• Deep knowledge of the candidate lifecycle from talent mapping through interviewing and closing.
• Data-driven approach to pipeline management and translating metrics into actions.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow.

We're hiring a Principal Recruiter to join our Core Recruiting team within People Success. This team owns hiring across Coinbase's G&A functions, and you'll be responsible for owning full-lifecycle recruiting for some of our hardest-to-fill roles. You'll partner directly with senior leaders to deeply understand their talent needs, build strong pipelines, and drive process improvements that help the recruiting team scale.

What you'll do:

• Own the full recruitment lifecycle from role intake through close for complex, senior-level searches across your Core portfolio
• Build candidate pipelines through self-sourcing and competitive research, ensuring sufficient depth and quality at each stage to maintain hiring velocity
• Partner with senior leaders across your client groups to translate hiring needs into effective search strategies and a strong candidate and interviewer experience
• Drive data integrity and use pipeline analytics to inform hiring efficiency, surface bottlenecks, and improve outcomes for your hiring teams
• Design and implement recruiting processes and pilot programs that help the team scale its impact across global markets

Required Skills and Experience:

• 8+ years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience in a technology company or similarly fast-paced, high-growth environment, with demonstrated success closing senior and hard-to-attract candidates
• Experience building and scaling recruiting processes across global markets
• Deep knowledge across the entire candidate lifecycle, from talent mapping and sourcing through interviewing and closing
• Data-driven approach to pipeline management with the ability to translate recruiting metrics into strategic recommendations for stakeholders
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

Pay Transparency Notice: Base salary varies by location (see range below). Total compensation may also include equity and bonus eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).

Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus):: $166,345 USD - $195,700 USD
