Job summary

Coinbase is hiring a Senior Manager, Recruiting to lead a team within our Core Recruiting function in People Success. Your portfolio covers Customer Experience, Security, ESTO and People Success, and you’ll partner directly with senior leaders on workforce planning and hiring strategy to scale our operations and infrastructure.

You’ll lead recruiters, drive operational rigor, and own recruiting processes for your portfolio, using data to improve speed and quality of hires.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of recruiting experience across the full cycle.
• 3+ years leading and developing recruiting teams.
• Experience partnering with senior leadership on hiring strategy and workforce planning.
• Data-driven approach to pipeline management with KPI translation.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight.

Responsibilities

You'll lead a team of recruiters, partner directly with senior leaders across your portfolio on workforce planning and hiring strategy, and drive the operational rigor and quality bar that ensures every hire strengthens the company.

What you'll do:

• Lead, develop, and coach a team of Core recruiters, setting clear expectations for performance, pipeline quality, and hiring outcomes

Required Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years of recruiting experience across the full cycle (talent mapping, sourcing, interviewing, closing), with 3+ years leading and developing recruiting teams
• Demonstrated success partnering with senior leadership on hiring strategy and workforce planning
• Track record of building, coaching, and scaling high-performing recruiting teams in fast-paced technology environments
• Data-driven approach to pipeline management with the ability to translate recruiting metrics into strategic recommendations for leadership
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
