Job summary

Harvard University’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences seeks a Manager of Non-Sponsored Funds to oversee financial operations for endowments, current use gifts, and unrestricted designated funds. You will ensure donor terms are met and funds are used strategically.

The role leads a team, collaborates with departments and the Office of Gift Administration, and drives reporting, compliance, and fund stewardship in a complex academic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 7 years’ relevant work experience.
• Supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial operations for FAS non-sponsored funds portfolio.
• Ensure funds are managed per donor terms and regulations.
• Provide specialized financial analysis and reporting.
• Supervise the Non-Sponsored Funds team and lifecycle of funds.
• Collaborate with departments and offices (Gift Administration, Controller).
• Monitor fund balances and ensure compliance with policies.
